Upgrades for Dr Valentine McDowall Park

Recently a full upgrade for the large playground in Dr Valentine McDowall Park on Streisand Drive was completed. This project has included a new footpath connection and upgraded equipment for the larger playground, as well as fencing for both playgrounds in this park.

This new equipment includes items which can be used by families of all abilities, and the new playground surface and connecting footpath will mean that this well-used playground is easier to get to for people with prams, bikes, walkers or wheelchairs. The Schrinner Council is continuing to invest in upgrading our parks and playgrounds in McDowall Ward so that there is more to see and do outdoors in our beautiful part of Brisbane.
