It was a pleasure to visit the South Burnett earlier this week to meet with local community groups and discuss the provision of community mental health services in the area. I must extend a big 'thank you' to Deb Frecklington, the LNP Candidate for Nanango, for hosting a dinner with members of the South Burnett Young Leaders Association (SBYLA). It was great to be able to have a chat with them and hear about their passions and concerns for the South Burnett and its people. The SBYLA will engage with the South Burnett Regional Council to discuss their Community Plan and Economic Development Plan. I wish them all the best. I look forward to visiting more communities throughout Queensland and listening to people's concerns regarding the need for community support, prevention and early intervention in various community mental health programs.
